Literature Guides

Hillside Education publishes literature guides in two formats:

Study Guides

Each guide covers one book. These may be used for a four-six week study of the literature as part of a literature based reading program. They may also be used to provide a break in your traditional reading program. Click on "Study Guides" to see the titles currently offered in this format.

Discussion Guides

Ranging from 8-14 pages, these guides provide a brief, non-stressed experience with the selected titles. These would be a good choice if you would like your student to read a wide variety of literature over the year and not do a particularly in-depth study of them. You can discuss these titles using the discussion questions, assign some written work, and do an extension project. Click on the "Discussion Guides" button on the main menu to see the list of titles offered.
